Oakwood is a prime candidate for any business gathering in Central Virginia. Our convenient location in the heart of the Peakland/Boonsboro neighborhood is supreme for staging events closer to many homes yet still within a ten minute drive to downtown Lynchburg. Whether small or large, indoors or outdoors, our club offers many options. Our interior ballroom level has the space capacity to comfortably accommodate 400 guests for an hors d'oeuvres reception and slightly smaller for plated or buffet functions. The unlimited capacity afforded by our outdoor property may be extremely attractive for any business thinking of hosting a blow-out party offering terrific exposure while maintaining a private setting.

For a standard catered affair with food and beverage our historic Ballroom offers a grand setting supported by excellent food and attentive service. The active outdoor facilities including tennis and swimming make our club attractive when considering an in-town "corporate retreat" for a day. The multiple outdoor patios and marvelous views support "corporate picnics" perfectly.
